Whistleblowers’ Resources and News Page

As early as 2005, NTEU supported the passage of Whistleblowers Rights Bill. In a news release on April 13, 2005, NTEU President Colleen M. Kelley welcomed the markup by a key Senate committee of a bill that would restore and strengthen protections for federal workers who speak out about waste, fraud and abuse in their agencies. And she further stated that action by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee “is an important step in providing necessary and appropriate protections” for federal whistleblowers.
